Donald E. Wells and the former Barbara Browning were married July 15, 1966 by Rev. Thomas Shirk at Wilmington Friends Church.

The Wilmington couple has two children, Scott (Valerie) Wells of Mason and Amy Wells (Jason) Miller of Wilmington. They have three grandchildren, Andrew Wells, Ashley Wells and Chloe Miller.

A family celebration is planned at a later date.
