Katie VanSkiver and Brandon Smith of Huntsville, Alabama will marry on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 in front of family and friends in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Katie is the daughter of Kathy VanSkiver of Xenia and Calvin (Barb) VanSkiver of Wilmington. She is a 2006 graduate of Wilmington High School, graduated from Delta College of Arts & Technology in nursing LPN, and is currently employed with Ability Plus, Inc. in Huntsville.

Brandon is the son of David and Ginger Smith of Slidell, Louisiana, is a 2007 graduate of Slidell High School, and graduated from Louisiana State University in biology and the University of Alabama School of Law. He is currently employed with Dezenberg & Smith, Attorneys at Law.
