Banner up! Support youth sports

WILMINGTON — The City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation is once again offering local businesses and organizations an opportunity to show their support of youth sports programs by displaying banners on ball field fences. Through March 31 banners may be ordered and they will be displayed throughout the summer season.

Park staff is excited about this partnership with local organizations, according to Jody Drake, Athletic Coordinator. Park visitors will get to see the many opportunities to buy locally, local businesses and organizations can make themselves more visible to park users, and the proceeds will benefit local youth sports.

For additional information, contact Lori Williams at 937-382-4781. Banner order forms are also available online at the City of Wilmington website, http://ci.wilmington.oh.us, under the Parks and Recreation tab.
