Hurricane comeback falls just short to end historic season

Wilmington’s Curtis Gauche, 11, Layne Griffith, 21, Alex Wright, 23, and head coach Michael Noszka were hopeful as the Hurricane mounted a second half comeback Friday against Lima Senior. However, in the end, the Spartans held off the Hurricane for a 61-58 win in a Div. I state semifinal game at Value City Arena. The Hurricane season ends at 27-2.
