Horses help children, teens grow


Local nonprofit youth organization Stillwater Stables held its fourth annual fundraising banquet on April 15. The keynote speaker was Quaker pastor Mike McCormick who recently became a Stillwater Stables board member. Stillwater Stables, which has United Way as a sponsor, offers trained school horses, an individualized program for each student, and a sliding tuition scale.
