WILMINGTON — The Southern Ohio Educational Service Center will host a S.T.E.M. Energy Summer Camp from May 31 to June 3 for Clinton County students entering grades 4, 5, 6 and 7.

The camp will take place on the Southern State Community College’s Wilmington campus, and will focus on the exploration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Campers will participate in energy design challenges, work on engineering challenges, investigate virtual labs, create digital projects, build simple machines, explore S.T.E.M. careers, travel to C.O.S.I in Columbus, play games, learn camp songs and make new friends, stated a media release.

Enrollment is limited, so register as soon as possible to secure a spot for your camper. Beginning April 22, registration will open to students outside the Clinton County area.

The cost to attend is $150, and for campers’ convenience, a $75 deposit will register your reservation.
