Clinton County Municipal Court sentences

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by the Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the name of the defendant, age, location (if listed), charge disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which handles misdemeanors, traffic cases and some civil cases. Only the criminal misdemeanors are included here.

The following were found guilty or pled guilty to crimes during the week of April 11 through April 15:

• Evan Ostermeier, 22, of Midland, possession of marijuana, fined $90, assessed $115 court costs.

• Bryan Marquardt, 41, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

• Curtis Newman, 23, of Blanchester, possession of drug abuse instrument, sentenced 90 days jail, fined $750, assessed $115 court costs, driver’s license suspended six months. Jail stayed so Newman can complete supervised probation. If compliant, $500 of Newman’s fine will be dismissed.

• Felicia Maxwell, 23, of Wilmington, domestic violence, sentenced 60 days jail (suspended), assessed $115 court costs. Jail suspended on condition of good behavior. Maxwell will be monitored by probation.

• Brandon McCarty, 34, of Mt. Orab, theft, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), assessed $115 court costs.

• Tonya Hoover, 31, of Midland, theft, sentenced 30 days jail, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, supervised probation.

• Lori Brothers, 51, of Morrow, theft and obstruction of official business, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, submit letters of apology to victim business, victim police officer, no contact with victim business, no similar violation for two years.

• Brandy Spurgeon, 35, of Trenton, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $115 court costs.

• Adam Phillips, 29, of Washington Court House, possession of a drug abuse instrument, sentenced 90 days jail, fined $750, assessed $115 court costs, driver’s license suspended for six months, probation to assess for treatment-based alternatives.

• Cindee Woods, 50, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, fined $25, assessed $115 court costs.

• Eric Wagner, 40, of Wilmington, menacing, sentenced 10 days jail (suspended), fined $50, assessed $115 court costs.

• Austin Grubbs, 24, of Lexington, disorderly conduct, fined $30, assessed $115 court costs.

• Zachary Harmon, 20, of Blanchester, criminal mischief, sentenced 3 days jail (two days suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, must complete eight hours of community service.

• Olivia Hayslip, 32, of New Vienna, possession of marijuana, fiend $150, assessed $115 court costs, driver’s license suspended six months.

• Ricky Surface, 31, of Blanchester, possession of drug abuse instrument, sentenced 90 days jail, fined $750, assessed $115 court costs, license suspended six months.

• Melissa Trace, 42, of Blanchester, disorderly conduct, assessed $115 court costs.

• Carlena Ellis, 20, of Blanchester, assault, sentenced 30 days jail, fined $200, assessed $115 court costs, supervised probation, write letter of apology.

• Eric Bomberger, 29, of Blanchester, resisting arrest, sentenced 10 days jail, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, write letter of apology.

• Edward Roberts Jr., 39, theft, sentenced 30 days jail (24 days suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, pay $6.79 restitution, write letter of apology to victim business.

• Michael Yarn, 29, of Madison, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

The following had charges against them dismissed:

• Richard Price, 35, of Martinsville, domestic violence; charge dismissed.

• Edward Creech, 22, of Wilmington, theft; charge dismissed as bond was posted.

• Tosha Lowry, 29, of Sabina, obstruction of official business; charge dismissed.

• Elizabeth Carter, 22, of Wilmington, theft; charge dismissed.

• Michael Brown, 30, of Wilmington, theft; charge dismissed.
