CLARKSVILLE — The class of 2016 was all smiles as it entered the gymnasium to “Pomp and Circumstance” commencing the future beyond the hallowed halls of Clinton-Massie High School.
Donned in their red and blue caps and gowns to honor their Clinton-Massie heritage, students shared their final hour together reminiscing about the past and talking about the future. Class President Madison Baker and Salutatorian Casey Cochran offered words of encouragement and celebration, and Valedictorian Nikki Settlemyre shared with classmates that they were forever bonded by their high school experiences and would always be united by their school.
The graduating class also honored the memory of Cheyenne Dale Burton, who passed away on March 1, 2015, with a display containing a white rose, her photograph, and her graduation gown.
