Twice a week, members of the Aktion Club water 24 hanging baskets and other flowers in downtown Wilmington. Aktion Club is a service group, sponsored by Wilmington Kiwanis, for people with disabilities. The crew Friday morning was comprised of, from left, Clinton County Board of DD Community Integration Coordinator Sarah Needham, April Williams next to the water tank, and Dan Willard watering flowers at the municipal parking lot on West Main Street. There are hanging baskets in the downtown on Main, South and Locust streets.
