WILMINGTON — Ahresty Wilmington Corporation was recently recognized again by the Community Blood Center of Dayton as the recipient of the Golden Partner LifeSaving Ambassadors Club for exceeding their goals for the number of units collected at their blood drives.

Ahresty and its associates have accomplished such recognition multiple times in the past as being a member of the LifeSaving Ambassadors Club of CBC. To achieve such recognition, all scheduled blood drives must meet or exceed their set targets for units collected.

Ahresty Wilmington Corporation hosts between four and five blood drives a year. The blood donors team at Ahresty has donated over 112 gallons of blood with some donors have reached several milestones from their participations.

To meet the ever-increasing demand for blood, Community Blood Center requires 400 donors a day to meet the demand of blood supply. If you are interested in donating blood, please call the center at 937-461-3450 or 1-800-388-GIVE.
