Clinton County Municipal Court sentences 22

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by the Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the name of the defendant, age, location (if listed), charge disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which handles misdemeanors, traffic cases and some civil cases. Only the criminal misdemeanors are included here.

The following pled guilty or were found guilty of crimes between June 20 and June 24:

• Amanda Hensley, 32, of Wilmington, possession of drug abuse instrument, child endangerment and assault, sentenced 450 days jail (suspended), fined $2,750, assessed $345 court costs, supervised probation, no contact with victim, write letter of apology to victim. If Hensley complies with the court’s order, the court will suspend half of Hensley’s fine. A separate charge of child endangerment against Hensley was dismissed.

• Charles Blaha, 62, of Wilmington, domestic violence, sentenced three days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, no contact with alleged victim except to recover personal property.

• Roger Rice, 52, of Blanchester, disorderly conduct, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, pay $100 restitution to victim business, write letter of apology to victim, no similar offense for two years.

• Gary Church, 71, of Clarksville, theft and disorderly conduct, sentenced 210 days jail (suspended), assessed $115 court costs, no contact with victim business, write two letters of apology, no similar offense for two years. A charge of resisting arrest against Church was dismissed.

• Chasity Lane, 35, of Wilmington, theft, sentenced 3 days jail (two days suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs. Pay $2.97 restitution to victim business, no contact with victim business, write letter of apology to victim business, complete eight hours of community service.

• Brandi Tell, 36, of Blanchester, theft and trespassing, sentenced 33 days jail (suspended), assessed $115 court costs, no contact with victim business, write letter of apology to victim business, no similar offense for two years. Tell’s sentence was lessened because Tell completed rehabilitation and became employed.

• Haley Williams, 20, of Wilmington, criminal damages, sentenced 10 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, write letter of apology to victim, no similar offense for two years, unsupervised probation.

• Kenneth Dunaway, 43, of Hillsboro, unauthorized use of property, sentencing stayed until July 19.

• Jeffrey Taylor, 33, of Tampa, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

• Jeremiah Watts, 26, of Blanchester, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

• Omari Rucker, 25, of Dayton, possession of marijuana, fined $30, assessed $115 court costs.

• Randy Wisecup Jr., 24, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $30, assessed $115 court costs.

• Michael Perkins, 43, of Cincinnati, possession of drug paraphernalia, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

• Linwood Grace Jr., 20, of Wilmington, attempt to offer drugs, sentenced 180 days jail (suspended), fined $1,000, assessed $115 court costs, supervised probation. If Grace is compliant with probation, the court will suspend Grace’s fines and costs.

• Dustin Reeves, 29, of Lynchburg, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $115 court costs.

• David Denney, 25, of Sabina, driving without consent, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), assessed $115 court costs, write letter of apology to victim, no similar offense for two years. A charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle against Denney was dismissed.

• Joseph Smith, 30, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, license suspended for six months.

• Kelsey Painter, 21, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, sentenced 10 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, no contact with a certain child, no similar offense for two years, unsupervised probation.

• Marissa Cole, 18, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, fined $25, assessed $115 court costs.

• Darrell Cole, 33, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, license suspended for six months.

• Timothy Taylor Jr., 32, of Clarksville, theft, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), assessed $115 court costs. A charge of possessing criminal tools against Taylor was dismissed.

• Alexander Jackson, 34, of New Vienna, theft, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), assessed $115 court costs, pay $66.33 restitution to victim business, write letter of apology to victim business.

The following had charges against them dismissed:

• Bobby Kpakayeda, 22, of Wayne, assault; charge dismissed.

• Mason Jordan, 20, of Lynchburg, possession of criminal tools; charge dismissed.

• Heather Trapp, 45, disorderly conduct; charge dismissed.

• Yang Hua, 54, of Wilmington, attempted trafficking; charge dismissed.

• Gary Seitz, 25, of Sabina, disorderly conduct; charge dismissed.

Also in Clinton County Municipal Court:

• Jeromy Clark, 34, charged with alleged forgery, was transferred to Clinton County Court of Common Pleas for indictment. Clark will face alleged charges of forgery, obstruction of official business and criminal trespassing in the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.
