Four felons given prison terms

WILMINGTON — This report is compiled from a criminal case disposition report provided by the Clinton County Clerk of Courts. The following cases were heard in Clinton County Common Pleas Court, presided over by Judge John W. “Tim” Rudduck and his magistrates.

Listed below are a defendant’s name, age, their town of residence, the crime the defendant was found guilty of, the degree of felony and the terms of the sentence. Felonies are ranked from F1 (most serious) to F5 (least serious). Defendants found guilty also must pay court costs, but those amounts aren’t included in the disposition report.

The following people were sentenced in Clinton County Court of Common Pleas between June 2 and June 23:

• Jessey Hammonds, 25, with an at-large address, failure to appear (F4) and assaulting a peace officer (F5), sentenced 11 months prison (credit given for 96 days served).

• Benjamin Benner Sr.,35, of Sabina, non-support of a dependent (F5), community controls revoked, sentenced six months prison (credit given for 15 days served). Benner was initially charged in 2009 and placed on community controls in 2010.

• Franklin McIntosh Sr., 27, of Clarksville, aggravated assault (F4),community controls revoked, sentenced 18 months prison (credit given for 233 days served). McIntosh was initially charged in 2014 and placed on community controls later that year.

• Jerry Adams, 33, of Fairborn, grand theft (F3) and burglary (F2), sentenced three years prison (credit given for seven days served), pay $1,000 restitution to victim. Two separate charges of burglary and a petty theft charge against Adams were dismissed.
