Clinton County Municipal Court sentences

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by the Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the name of the defendant, age, location (if listed), charge disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which handles misdemeanors, traffic cases and some civil cases. Only the criminal misdemeanors are included here.

The following pled guilty or were found guilty of crimes between June 27 through July 1:

• Robert Taylor, 60, of Sabina, aggravated trespassing, sentenced 180 days jail, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, no contact with the victim.

• Matthew Reeder, 35, of Blanchester, disorderly conduct and possession of a drug abuse instrument, sentenced 120 days jail, fined $800, assessed $230 court costs, supervised probation.

• Linwood Grace Jr., 20, of Wilmington, assault, sentenced 180 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, supervised probation. A charge of possessing marijuana against Grace was dismissed.

• Jean Popp, 45, of Wilmington, domestic violence, fined $50, assessed $115 court costs.

• Beronica Schmitz, 19, of Sabina, theft and trespassing, sentenced 30 days jail (stayed), fined $50, assessed $115 court costs. Schmitz’s jail sentence was stayed to complete a theft diversion program.

• Christopher Hill, 40, of Wilmington, domestic violence, sentencing stayed to allow Hill to complete diversion. If Hill is compliant, the court will dismiss the charges.

• Xavier Jones, 19, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs. A separate charge of possessing marijuana against Jones was dismissed.

• Jason Fawley, 34, of Martinsville, theft, assessed $115 court costs.

• Addam Shaeffer, 31, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs. A charge of trespassing against Shaeffer was dismissed.

• Jeremy Pinkerton, 33, of New Vienna, receiving stolen property, sentenced 180 days jail (suspended), fined $1,000, assessed $115 court costs, supervised probation, all property to be returned to owners.

• Jade Baker, 27, of Wilmington, possession of drug abuse instrument, sentenced 90 days jail, fined $75, assessed $115 court costs, supervised probation.

• Alexandria Doyle, 21, of Wilmington, misuse of 911, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

The following had charges against them dismissed:

• Brian Childers, 45, of Sabina, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; both charges dismissed.

• Kyle Baker, 18, underage consumption; charge dismissed.

• Donielle Payton, 19, of Midland, underage consumption; charge dismissed.

• Halona Wisecup, 18, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana; charge dismissed.

Also in Clinton County Municipal Court:

• Anthony Rowley Jr., 30, of Wilmington, charged with three counts of allegedly receiving stolen property, was bound over to the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas and placed on a $5,000 bond.
