COLUMBUS (AP) — Gas prices around Ohio continue to fall going into the workweek.

Ohio’s average gas price for a gallon of regular gas was down to $2.06 in Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s down 12 cents from a week ago and about 31 cents below the state average this time last month.

Monday’s national average price was $2.16, compared with $2.21 last week and $2.31 a month ago.

This time last year, the state average was $2.50 and the national average was $2.72.

Gas prices continue to drop in most parts of the country due to abundant fuel supplies and declining crude oil costs.
