Come out to the Caesar Creek Flea Market Saturday for a day-long safety event presented by the Chester Twp. Fire Department. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a mock crash taking place at 3 p.m.

An emphasis will be on the dangers of drinking or texting while driving. It will provide a good opportunity to talk to your friends and family — especially young drivers — about these dangers.

At the event will be a police K-9 unit and a visit from MedFlight is expected. the fire department will do fire extinguisher demonstrations, car seat inspections and blood pressure and sugar checks.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office will hand out Halloween bags (while supplies last) and information about their DARE program. Kids will also be able to spray water, touch the fire trucks and climb in the cruisers.

Hats, stickers and coloring pages will be available to kids while supplies last.
