HARLAN TWP. —Six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday caused when a juvenile driver ran a stop sign, according to the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred at about 5:32 p.m. in Harlan Twp., Warren County.

According to witnesses, the driver of the 2005 Ford Focus, a juvenile with her twin sister in the front passenger seat, were traveling south on State Route 132 when they failed to yield from a stop sign and were struck by a 2004 Ford Excursion, driven by Elizabeth Sammons, 31, of Clarksville, heading northwest on State Route 123, reported the OSHP.

The juvenile driver was transported from the scene by Care Flight to Miami Valley Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and her passenger was transported from the scene by Harlan Township Fire/EMS and taken to Bethesda Arrow Springs Hospital, Lebanon, for non-life-threatening injuries.

Sammons and her three children were also transported from the scene to Bethesda Arrow Springs and were treated and released.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
