The Clinton County Humane Society hosted a “Howl-oween Fest” Saturday at the Gano farm as a fundraiser for the animal shelter at 1760 Fife Ave., Wilmington. The events included a pet walk along Gano Road to Miller Cemetery, games, hayrides and a silent auction. Shown, attendees participate in the dog walk — although for some participants, it was a dog carry.
CCHS volunteer Susan Case and one of her five rescue dogs are colorfully dressed up for the fundraiser.
Mac, with Brian Spurlock, isn’t sure how he feels about surfing — especially on his back.
Connie and David Bailey (and four-legged grandchild) register attendees to bid on silent auction items.
Lena’s costume is “dragon” her down.
