WILMINGTON —Wilmington police have arrested a Sabina man and charged him with sexual assault and kidnapping for an alleged incident in Wilmington.

Wilmington police have been investigating an alleged sexual assault that was reported to the department, according to WPD Chief Duane Weyand. He said that as a result of the investigation, Michael Riddle, 49, of Sabina was charged with two counts of sexual assault as well as one count of kidnapping. Riddle is currently in the Clinton County Jail.

“Detectives executed a search warrant in Sabina regarding this incident,” Weyand said. “The matter is ongoing as we expect additional charges when lab reports come back.”
