Vote and Vax at the Health Department

Come to the Clinton County Health Department after you vote and get all of your Election Day “coverage.” For your convenience during Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 8, the Clinton County Health Department will offer flu vaccinations during polling times: 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.

They are located at 111 S. Nelson Ave., Wilmington, across from the fairgrounds. Please bring a photo ID and insurance card. If you are uninsured, the vaccination fee is $25.

Meet Ukraine journalist, be in documentary

Tell your story about life in Wilmington today. Give your views about the American election. Ukrainian journalist Nataliya Gumenyuk will be at the Wilmington Public Library 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. She will be interviewing Wilmington residents for a Ukrainian television documentary.

US 68 closures this weekend

Pavement work requires various lane closures on U.S. Route 68 this weekend, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Various lane closures on U.S. 68 between Southwind Boulevard and E. Dalton Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
