MHRS Board of Directors appoints two

LEBANON – The Board of Directors for Mental Health Recovery Services of Warren & Clinton Counties (MHRS) announced two new appointees. Tina Fischer of Blanchester in Clinton County and Gary Brose of Maineville in Warren County are the newest board members approved to serve by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS).

“We are excited to have them aboard,” said MHRS Executive Director Brent Lawyer. “Their experience coupled with their keen interest in helping those we serve will help make our services and programs that much better as we move forward.”

Fischer, a resident of Blanchester, is a substitute teacher with the Southern Hills Career and Technical Center. She has also been on the Village of Blanchester Parks and Recreation Board for 17 years. She is active with the American Legion Auxiliary United 179 in Blanchester, and has been a member of several community organizations.

Brose works as a chaplain for Crossroads Hospice. He has also served churches in Springdale, Murdoch, Milford, and Williamsburg, Ohio. He taught fourth grade in the Lakota school district. Gary and his wife live in Maineville. His two daughters are graduates of the Little Miami school district.
