On Make a Difference Day Oct. 22, the City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation partnered with local Modern Woodmen of America members, Wilmington High School Interact students, and community volunteers to plant 12 trees. The trees were made possible in large part by the Modern Woodmen Plant-a-Tree Program, as well as donations from the Hein and Birt families.
