WILMINGTON — The Murphy Express, sponsored by Wilmington Savings Bank, is steam powered and ready to roll!

Timothy Larrick, Artistic Director of the Murphy Theatre, invites you to join the cast and crew as they sing, dance and fiddle their way to the North Pole at the Historic Murphy Theatre in downtown Wilmington.

This year’s show features the Murphy Singers, Murphy Choir, Murphy Kids and the Murphy Flutes-n-Fiddles.

Local groups from the community and our schools will include The Wilmingtones, under the direction of David Beck; the award-winning Fancy Free Cloggers, under the direction of Evie Poe; and the Falconettes under the direction of Jackie Anderson.

Joining the Murphy Christmas show for the first time are the students of Live Gracefully Dance Company, under the direction of Darcy Grey.

Show times are Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and 10, at 7:30 p.m. and matinees on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10 and 11 at 2 p.m.
