A kitchen fire started at a house on State Route 132 in Warren County at around 1:19 p.m. Friday. Nobody was hurt in the fire and the Blanchester, Chester Township and Morrow fire departments aided the Clinton Warren Fire District and EMS, said Clinton Warren Chief Bob Wysong. The fire was extinguished in around 20 minutes, Wysong said, but because of heavy fire, smoke and water damage throughout the house, it is uninhabitable. Wysong estimates between $75,000 and $100,000 in damage.
