Eagles Auxiliary Caring for Kids

WILMINGTON — The Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 1224 made the holiday season a little brighter for a group of local organizations. Through their Caring for Kids Campaign, the Ladies Auxiliary donated a combined total of $3,500 to Clinton County Youth Council, Harvest of Gold, Heather’s Hope, Kids & Company, Kinship Care, Stepping Stones Ranch, and Stillwater Stables.

Throughout the year, the Auxiliary hosts a variety of fundraisers that are earmarked for the Caring for Kids Campaign. These include the annual Car & Bike Show held in late summer, various raffles, 50/50 drawings, and other activities.

“We are always thrilled to be able to make these donations at the end of the year to our local organizations” said Auxiliary President Christie Siders. “Our goal is to target groups that have to provide their own funding. Year after year, they all tell us how thankful they are that we keep them on our radar. We are more than happy to have the ability to help.”
