VFW District donates $1K to Honor Flight

The Commander of Wilmington’s VFW Post 6710 used his opportunity to speak at the Spring Conference of the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ Fourth District to give a presentation on the first Clinton County Honor Flight and the upcoming flight on April 29. His overview was obviously well-received — when Commander Richard James finished speaking, one of the attendees stood up and made a motion to donate $1,000 to Honor Flight Dayton for the Clinton County Flight #2. The motion was approved and Commander James was presented with a check.
