Lebanon man, Blan woman among 4 arrested after shooting

WARREN COUNTY — Four people were arrested after a shooting Saturday night in Salem Township, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

At 9:21 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a report of a gunshot victim in Salem Township. The victim was located and then transported to Bethesda North Hospital with a non-life threatening bullet wound, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

After detectives identified the suspect, the Warren County Tactical Response Unit was contacted and responded to the residence. After several unsuccessful commands for the male suspect to come out and surrender, the team made entry and took him into custody, police stated.

One other suspect was charged in connection with the shooting, and two other subjects in the house were arrested on outstanding warrants, according to police.

Larry Fields Jr, 38, of Lebanon, was arrested and charged with one count of felonious assault; Michelle Hofmann, 33, of Blanchester was arrested and charged with one count of obstructing justice and one count of tampering with evidence.

Both are incarcerated in the Warren County Jail.
