14 guilty in Clinton County Municipal Court

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by the Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the name of the defendant, age, location (if listed), charge disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which handles misdemeanors, traffic cases and some civil cases. Only the criminal misdemeanors are included here.

The following were found guilty or pled guilty during the week of Nov. 16-20:

  • Michael Million, 55, of of Connersville, animal cruelty, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), fined $400, assessed $100 court costs, two years unsupervised probation. Million is not allowed to care for animals while on probation. If compliant with the sentence, the court will suspend the jail sentence.
  • Rachele Grooms, 27, of Hillsboro, receiving stolen property, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), assessed $100 court costs. Jail suspended on condition of no further violations and one-year unsupervised probation.
  • Ethan McCandless, 24, of Lebanon, domestic violence, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), fined $150, assessed $100 court costs, no further offense, two years unsupervised probation and no contact with a certain woman except as provided by any court order.
  • Mark Feltz, 34, of Wilmington, assault, sentencing stayed to complete self-assessment questionnaire, no contact with a certain man.
  • Malik Rollins, 20, of Wilmington, criminal damages, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $100 court costs, two years unsupervised probations, 20 hours community service.
  • Angelo Davis, 21, of Detroit, Mich., possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $100 court costs.
  • Tevin Amburgy, 19, of Wilmington, theft, sentenced 30 days jail, fined $500, assessed $100 court costs.
  • Neil Segovia, 28, Springfield, disorderly conduct, fined $60, assessed $100 court costs.
  • Nancy Johnson, 54, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $105 court costs.
  • Larry Tackett, 35, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $95, assessed $100.
  • Ashley Straley, 18, of Clarksville, disorderly conduct, fined $100, assessed $100 court costs. A separate charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.
  • Joshua Sweet, 21, of Sabina, two charges of underage consumption, sentenced 180 days jail (suspended), fined $2,000, assessed $200 court costs, two years supervised probation, complete self-assessment questionnaire. If compliant without any violations, the court will suspend the fine.
  • Robert Hollingsworth, 37, of Wilmington, theft, sentenced 30 days jail (stayed), fined $250, assessed $100 court costs. Jail stayed to allow defendant to complete diversion.
  • James Sholler Jr., 24, of Clarksville, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $100 court costs.

The following had charges that were dismissed:

  • Andrew Peters, 24, of Wilmington, two charges of concealed carry weapon violation; all charges dismissed.
  • Amanda Kleinfelder, 20, of Beavercreek, underage consumption; charge dismissed upon completion of diversion.
  • Ian Cali, 21,of Beavercreek, underage consumption; charge dismissed upon completion of diversion.
  • Dakota Wilson, 19, of Morrow, underage consumption; charge dismissed upon completion of diversion.
  • Dustin Vice, 19, of Morrow, underage consumption; charge dismissed upon completion of diversion.
  • Anthony Camp, 53, of Hillsboro, possession of drug abuse instrument and possession of marijuana; all charges dismissed.

Also in municipal court:

  • Grant Gilliand, 24, of Xenia, possession of a schedule II drug and possession of drug paraphernalia, transferred to Clinton County Common Pleas Court.
