Denise Hill has been named Advertising Manager of the Wilmington News Journal.

“We’re delighted that Denise is able to join us,” said Regional Publisher Randy Graf. “She has worked extensively in the Wilmington marketplace and brings a wealth of knowledge, especially involving new advertising initiatives and in the digital arena.”

Hill started in the newspaper business in Washington Court House at the Record Herald in 2001 as an advertising sales representative. In June 2014, she accepted a position as a regional Digital Media Manager.

In addition to her Advertising Manager position, she will assist The News Journal and Civitas Media in digital sales efforts across Ohio.

“Wilmington is a wonderful, welcoming community and I look forward to getting to know the people and businesses of Clinton County,” Hill said.

Hill is originally from North Carolina, living in Ohio since 1996.
