Beacon celebrates year, new doctor

The Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce celebrated Beacon Orthopaedics’ one-year anniversary in their new space last week, along with welcoming their new D.O., Nicole Goddard, to the community. Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine at the Center for Sports Sciences is the seventh Beacon location in the tri-state area and the third Beacon office to open in as many years. Nicole Goddard, D.O., joined the Beacon team in August after completing her extensive fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic, where she covered the Cleveland Indians and the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015 as a sports medicine fellow. She welcomes new patients with orthopedic or musculoskeletal injury. Dr. Goddard will see patients in the Beacon Wilmington location and assist in medical coverage at local sporting events at Wilmington College and area high schools in the Clinton County community.
