Thankful for Community Care Hospice

0

Recently my mother, Audrey Claibourne, passed away at the age of 95, a long life for a beautiful lady. Her last week on earth was filled with so much love and care. Our family cannot say thank you enough to Community Care Hospice. From the first nurse that assessed mom to the last one there when she passed was so full of compassion and it was so obvious that they truly love what they do. I admire them all. The service they provide is outstanding.

They took over mom’s care in such a way that it was a relief in so many ways. We never had any doubt that they knew what to do, when to do it and how to do it. Everyone that was involved with mom’s care always had a smile, knew when to joke, knew when to hold your hand, and knew when you needed a hug. With their help, mom was able to leave us with dignity and no pain. We are all very fortunate to have this organization so close to home.

I also need to thank Dr. Inwood and her staff for helping take such good care of mom for so long. Dr. Inwood’s response time from the hospice nurses was amazingly fast.

And a special thank you to Jayne Bray, who helped care for mom for the last couple of months. Mom so enjoyed your company, and the care you provided was exceptional and given with such love.
