This is a follow-up letter to the one I wrote when I was almost hit by a car on Rombach at the Kroger entrance. Today in the mail I received a card from the lady who was driving the car. Her card was pretty but her words were beautiful. She apologized for it happening and she felt as badly as I did.
She was a lady who simply made a mistake and apologized for it. She looked my name up in the phone book to get my address and, while she did not sign her name (I do understand why and accept it), my heart is happy today because she contacted me. Accidents do happen and taking responsibility when it is necessary is more than sufficient for forgiveness. Life is good.
