Grateful for CCF, Giving Tuesday

I want to express my appreciation for the service provided by the Clinton County Foundation to non-profits and donors of Clinton County. As President of Cardinal Land Conservancy (formerly Clinton County Open Lands), we could not have accomplished what we have without the Foundation.

Since 2004, we have worked with families to permanently preserve Clinton County farmland and natural areas, preserving 517 acres to date with another 1,300 acres in process. A requirement of our work is to establish an endowment fund for the stewardship of our conservation easements and fee lands. The Foundation enabled us to do that, providing responsiveness and accountability to those supporting our Open Lands fund.

The Foundation’s “Giving Tuesday” initiative is another example of their board’s proactive efforts for the good of Clinton County (see www.clintoncountyohiofoundation.org). Whether for your end-of-year giving or any time, big or small donations, talk to Jan Blohm at the Foundation for ways you can help Clinton County charities.
