Wilmington has a proud history, as do our schools. On May 2 we are called, as a community, to show our support for Wilmington City Schools.

WCS is seeking a renewal of their current income tax levy. This is a renewal levy and will not increase your taxes. As mayor, I believe a healthy, growing city needs a strong public school system. Strong school systems are instrumental in drawing families and businesses to our city, making it thrive.

I am proud that this community has shown great support for WCS in the past, and hope you will vote to renew this levy. Please join me at the polls and vote yes for the Wilmington City Schools Levy Renewal. Let’s keep our Hurricane Pride.
