I was shocked when I read Tim Inwood’s Letter to the Editor which appeared in the May 13 edition of the News Journal. The extreme negativism of the letter coming from the Chairman of the Republican Party in Clinton County was truly disappointing.

As an Independent that has voted for Republican candidates in the past, I hope that he does not speak for the party and its members. If that is the direction the party is taking, then they have lost my vote in future elections.
