The Rodger O. Borror eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Miami Trace Thursday night, 48-35.

On the strength of a strong defensive effort, the young Hurricane jumped out to a 32-13 halftime lead, coach Steve Crago said.

Conner Mitchell led the ROB team with 11 points while Blake Rhodehamel and Brady Evans had 9 points each.

Jack Murphy and Cameron Coomer had 7 points each. Tyler Park and Chris Custis also scored for the Hurricane, now 5-2 on the year.
