LEES CREEK — Forfeits proved to be too much for East Clinton to overcome Thursday in South Central Ohio League wrestling against Chillicothe and Hillsboro at the EC gym.
East Clinton lost to Chillicothe 42-27 and to Hillsboro 45-30. The Astros did not have a wrestler in six weight classes in each match.
Cameron Bloch at 170 pounds posted a pair of wins for Doug Stehlin’s Astros — a 13-6 decision over Joseph Hilliard of Chillicothe and a pin in 2:50 against Hillsboro’s Curran Butler.
Thomas Wright also won two matches, both by pins — in 5:58 over Andre Haubeil of Chillicothe and in 1:56 over Cordell Covault of Hillsboro.
