The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team was defeated by Amelia Thursday night 33-21.

Tanner Creager led Blanchester with seven points.

Hutner Bare had four points, six rebounds and four blocked shots. Jay Ashcraft, Braden Roy and Kaleb Goodin had three points each. Avin Whitaker rounded out the scoring with a free throw.
