East Clinton JV boys fall to Blue Lions 56-48

LEES CREEK — After East Clinton rallied to tie the game at 46-46, Washington went on an 8-0 run and posted a 56-48 win in South Central Ohio League reserve boys basketball action Tuesday night at the EC gym.

Austin Hanners had nine of his game-high 20 points in the fourth quarter for East Clinton. Griffin Irvin had all eight of his points in the fourth as the Astros rallied.

Alex Pence and Brendan Jenkins had seven points each while Dylan Michael, Jacob Olds and Cameron Conner had two points each.

For Washington, Richard Burns Jr. led the way with 15 points. Blaise Tayese had 13 points.

Evan Upthegrove scored nine points and Austin Bailey chipped in with seven. Dillon Steward contributed six points and Jordan Behm had three. Kenny Arboleda had two points and Jalen Pettiford rounded out the scoring with a first quarter free throw.
