The Blanchester seventh grade girls basketball team was defeated by Georgetown 36-23 Tuesday night.

Lana Roy, who played aggressively at both ends of the floor, coach Mike Cook said, had eight points, four rebounds and two steals while Casey Kingsland had eight points, a rebound and a steal.

Maddie Wells had three points and four rebounds. Brinli Crosley had two points, six rebounds and a steal. Caili Baumann had two points, three rebounds and two steals. Jasmine Collins grabbed two rebounds.
