The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team forced 24 Batavia turnovers in a 50-35 win.

With the win, the young Wildcats even their record at 5-5.

Tanner Creager had 20 points, seven rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocked shots.

Kaleb Goodin had 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals. Hunter Bare had eight points and Chantz Dalton contributed four. Cameron Skidmore and Jay Ashcraft scored three points each. Braden Roy tossed in two. Coach Brad Ballinger said Jasper Damewood and Avin Whitaker played well defensively. Whitaker also had four rebounds and two assists.
