Blan JV boys have no trouble with Rockets

BLANCHESTER – Blanchester’s reserve boys basketball team scored the first 16 points Tuesday night and cruised to a 45-22 win over Clermont Northeastern.

After outpacing the Rockets 21-7 in the first, Blanchester outscored CNE 10-2 in the second quarter to take a 31-9 lead into halftime.

Blake Baker led Blanchester with 12 points, all in the first quarter on four three-point shots.

Eric Patton added 9 points. Brant Bandow scored 8. Preston Griffin chipped in 7 points. Lane Heeg scored 4 points. Clayton Guy added 3 points. Ian Heeg and Jacob Burden each had 1 point.
