EBER – Miami Trace rallied by winning four of the final six matches and defeated Clinton-Massie 39-31 Wednesday in a Div. II Region 15B State Duals quarterfinal match at MTHS.

The win puts the Panthers in next week’s Region 15 semifinal round against county rival Washington, winners over Wilmington Wednesday night 42-33.

The Falcons defeated Bellbrook 60-18 in the opening round while the Panthers were 54-13 winners over Unioto.

In the final match, CM took a lead on a pair of forfeits but Trace won four matches in a row and led 18-12.

Christian Poynter (3:34) and Davey Tunon (0:14) had pins to put Massie up 24-18. From there, though, Miami Trace won four matches to secure the win.
