Lady Astros JV squad wins finale, finishes 13-7

The East Clinton reserve girls basketball team finished its season with a 38-29 win over Washington Thursday at the EC gym.

The Lady Astros, under the guidance of Bill Bean, were 13-7 overall and 9-5 against South Central Ohio League foes.

Gracie McCarren had 12 points and four rebounds while Sierra Christian had seven points and seven rebound.

Paige Lilly had six points, two rebounds and two steals. Lacey Peterman scored four points. Miranda Beener had four rebounds and a point. Kaitlyn Talbott scored three points and Kayla Hall had three rebounds and one point. Bre Davis had two points and five rebounds. Kaitlin Durbin had two points.

On Wednesday, East Clinton lost to Miami Trace 22-16. Peterman and Durbin had three points each. Christian scored three points and grabbed three rebounds.

Davis had two points and three rebounds. Talbott had two rebounds. Beener hauled in four rebounds and tosse din two points. Lilly had a point and four steals. McCarren had two points and four rebounds.
