The Blanchester seventh grade boys basketball team defeated New Richmond 44-36 to close its regular season with a 10-5 record.

Brody Rice and Brayden Sipple led Blanchester — Rice had 10 points and 15 rebounds while Sipple had 24 points and 10 rebounds.

Logan Heitzman added five points while Bryce Highlander and Hunter Hartmann had two points each. Carter Stevens tossed in a free throw.

Brian Miller, Trenton Czaika and Sipple all had three assists. Sipple also had four steals while Highlander had three and Kyle Hopkins came up with two.
