The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team defeated New Richmond 30-26 Monday night.

The victory gives Blanchester a 7-8 record at the end of the regular season.

Jay Ashcraft had nine points and seven rebounds while Hunter Bare had nine points, six rebounds and three steals.

Kaleb Goodin had seven points and five rebounds, and Tanner Creager had three points, five rebounds, three assists and five steals. Braden Roy rounded out the scoring with two points.
