RIGHT NOW I LIKE …
Our numbers and work ethic. This is the largest and most talented team we’ve have had in my three years as track coach. This also the hardest-working and most excited team that I’ve had as well. Coach Sodini and I have put on emphasis on getting more athletes on the team each year. We believe the benefit of more numbers on the team will help to breed more competition among everyone. So far, this increase in numbers has helped to increase our overall work ethic as a team.
RIGHT NOW WE NEED TO IMPROVE …
Our focus. The spring is a busy time for all of our athletes and as coaches we understand that. We try to get a lot out of our athletes in this month span before the season starts. As a team, we are excited to get the season underway.
TEAM TO BEAT IN SCOL
Washington. Coach Reid has built a strong program at WCH and they have won it every year that I’ve coached
ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SAY
It will be hard to replace the leadership of Brooke Carpenter and Rebecca Noggle as they were fixtures in the East Clinton track program for the past four years. This year we have a lot of girls that have been in the program for a long time and we will look to them to lead the team this year. Mindy Bean, Courtney Graves, Kylee Hidy, and Hannah Pickering will bring experience to help our team be successful this season. Newcomers Tressana Osborne, Alexis Haines, Veronica Brewer, Brittney Wheeler and Lacey Peterman have been standouts in practice thus far and I’m excited to see them compete this season. Overall, this is the most experienced and talented team I have had in my time at East Clinton and I’m excited about our chance to have a very successful season.
