HILLSBORO — The East Clinton reserve softball team defeated Hillsboro 27-2 Wednesday in the Lady Astros season opener.

Tabby Vance scored three runs for East Clinton. Sarah Roe had four runs batted in, two stolen bases and scored four times. Tiffanni Bailey had four runs scored and stole three bases.

Shelby Michael had four hits, scored four runs and drive on three runs. Sydney Michael had three hits, scored three runs and drove in two runs. Grace Cooper had two hits and scored twice.

Victoria Jamison had three runs and two hits. Talbott had two hits and drove in three runs. Emily Tong scored two runs. Madi Crowe and Courtlyn Cubbage both had hits.

Katelyn Talbott was the winning pitcher.
