Washington hands EC tennis first loss

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — The East Clinton tennis team lost its first match of the season Monday to Washington, 4-1, in South Central Ohio League action at Washington Country Club.

The Astros are 2-1 overall and 2-1 in the SCOL.

Luke Meares notched the lone win for the Astros, a 2-6, 6-0, 6-3 rally at second singles over Grant Mustain. Meares is unbeaten on the season at 3-0
