CMMS boys start track, field season with loss to Kings

KINGS MILLS — The Clinton-Massie Middle School boys track and field team was defeated by Kings 95-28 Monday afternoon at the KHS track.

“The final team results were not what we were looking for,” CM coach Jim Wagner said. “We are a very young and inexperienced team, with only five boys with any prior track and field experience, and it showed tonight. I expect the boys to improve over the season, but this was a tough way to begin.”

Brock Speaks won the discus and Aaron Williams won the shot put competition. Robby Frederick finished second in both the 100- and 200-meter hurdle events.
