HILLSBORO — East Clinton finished third in a junior high school track and field meet Monday at Hillsboro.

Brendon Walters set an East Clinton junior high record in the discus. He won the event with a toss of 117-0.

Aiden Henson picked up the only other first-place finish for the young Astros, hitting the line first in the 800-meter run.
